MATHS TEACHER

Teach-Together is looking to fill the role of math teacher.

.Responsibilities for math teacher:

• interact in a cooperative and professional manner with students, parents, and school personnel;
• establish and maintain supportive working relationships within both the agency/school and the broader community services network;
• provide appropriate representation of the agency/school and its services within the community;
• participate as an active member of school committees;
• plan and present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of mathematical concepts;
• prepare and distribute learning material such as notes, assignments, and quizzes;
• source the resources and supplies needed for lessons;
• ensure that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning;
• grade assignments and quizzes in a timely manner;
• document and report on students' progress.

Qualifications for math teacher:

• bachelor's degree in education with a specialization in mathematics, or equivalent;
• proven experience as a math teacher;
• a thorough understanding of best practices in teaching;
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• organized, flexible disposition;
• outstanding interpersonal skills.
