Maths Teacher (Secondary and Primary)

Job Title: Mathematics Teacher

Summary:

Responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing mathematics lessons that develop students’ understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence in the subject. Ensures an engaging, supportive, and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum.

Use various teaching methods and resources to explain mathematical concepts clearly.

Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Support students in developing analytical and logical thinking.

Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress.

Create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings and activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Education (B.Ed. preferred).

Teaching certification or relevant experience in mathematics instruction.

Strong subject knowledge and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
