La Lupita Taco & Mezcal is a high-energy Mexican restaurant and mezcal bar born in Los Cabos, Mexico, now opening its first U.S. location in Dallas. Our philosophy is Authentic, Not Approximate — we nixtamalize our own corn, build our trompo from scratch, and serve a mezcal program rooted in real Mexican tradition.

THE ROLE The Maître D' / Lead Host controls the front door and leads the host team. This role is responsible for pacing the dining room, managing reservations, protecting service flow, and creating a confident, polished first impression. This is not an entry-level host position. We are looking for someone who understands hospitality at a high level and wants to lead.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead and train the host team.

Manage reservations and waitlists.

Strategically control seating rotation.

Maintain constant communication with managers and servers.

Handle VIP guests and guest recovery with professionalism.

Protect service pacing during peak volume.

Maintain strong, confident lobby presence.
