MBBS Doctor – Sonologist (PC-PNDT Compliant)

We are inviting applications from MBBS doctors with PC-PNDT–recognized training in Ultrasonography, who are eligible for registration as Sonologist under the PC-PNDT Act. The selected candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in strict adherence to statutory and ethical guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.
• Completed training / fellowship in Ultrasonography recognized under PC-PNDT norms (as acceptable to the local Appropriate Authority).
• Eligible for registration as Sonologist with the District / State PC-PNDT Appropriate Authority.
• Valid State Medical Council / NMC registration.
• Sound knowledge of PC-PNDT Act, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as clinically indicated.
• Ensure 100% compliance with PC-PNDT rules, record-keeping, and reporting.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
• Coordinate with referring clinicians for appropriate clinical correlation.
• Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a hospital, nursing home, or diagnostic center.
• Exposure to abdominal, obstetric, and basic Doppler ultrasound studies.
