Description

We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Neurosurgery and Vascular Surgery . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality medical care to patients with neurological and vascular conditions. Your expertise will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and performing surgeries on patients with complex neurosurgical and vascular issues. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess neurological and vascular conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs.
  • Perform surgical procedures with precision and adherence to medical protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurosurgery and vascular surgery techniques.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to medical staff and residents.
  • Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to neurosurgery and vascular surgery.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Neurosurgery and Vascular Surgery.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing complex neurosurgical and vascular procedures.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Proficiency in utilizing medical technology and equipment.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Endovascular call coverage required

Primary stroke center

Cases: ~30% cranial, the rest are spine

Will cover the full scope of endovascular surgery

Current Team: 4 surgeons

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

Compensation & Benefits:
