Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their lifespan, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and gynecological conditions. This role requires a commitment to patient service and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
  • Manage prenatal care, labor, and delivery processes.
  • Provide gynecological care, including routine screenings and preventive health services.
  • Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and patient management.
  • Collaborate with specialists in areas such as maternal-fetal medicine, endocrinology, and oncology as needed.
  • Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
  • Engage in patient education regarding family planning, reproductive health, and wellness.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving women's health outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient records.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using EMR systems; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
  • Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to obstetric care.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to women's health issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and service delivery.
  • Background in critical care experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with various medical specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and psychiatry is beneficial.

  • Clinic Schedule: 16-hour shifts, 2 days per week

L+D Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 1 day per week

Deliveries Per Year: 1000

Procedures Required: GYN surgeries

Support Staff: MFM, Gyn Oncologist, CNM, attendings, residents
