MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiology

Description

We are currently seeking an experienced MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology.. In this role, you will play a crucial part in diagnosing and treating patients through the use of medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team. You will be involved in a variety of projects, from interpreting X-rays and MRIs to performing interventional procedures, all aimed at improving patient outcomes and quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
• Perform and interpret interventional procedures including biopsies and drainage.
• Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during imaging procedures.
• Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Document findings accurately in patient medical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Radiology.
• Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday
• Will accept radiologists who read DX, IR, Mammo, MR, and/or Nuc
• Must be board certified
• $510k base salary + RVUs
• 5 weeks of PTO
