Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MD Pathologist to lead clinical interpretation, research, and training efforts for VELscan and DNA Ploidy technologies. This role combines advanced diagnostic reporting, scientific communication, medical training, lab protocol audits, and customer support. The ideal candidate will be confident in both clinical and academic settings and committed to advancing early oral and cervical cancer detection.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Diagnostic Reporting & Quality Compliance
- Accurately review and report LBC PAP smears and DNA Ploidy cell classification cases as per company
- protocols.
- Answer case-specific questions raised by clinicians and ensure clarity of diagnostic insights.
- Internally audit lab protocols to ensure adherence to NABL standards and SOPs.
- Identify and implement improvements in lab practices to maintain diagnostic excellence.
2. Research and Development
- Interpret, summarize, and simplify complex scientific literature related to VELscan and DNA Ploidy.
- Lead or collaborate on original research studies and ensure publication in reputed journals.
- Stay updated on national and international advancements in cancer cytology and molecular diagnostics.
- Present findings to technical committees and contribute to innovations in diagnostic protocols.
3. Training and Education
- Clinical Training for Professionals: Provide structured training to doctors, pathologists, and lab personnel on diagnostic use and interpretation of VELscan and DNA Ploidy.
- CME Program Development: Create and deliver Continuing Medical Education (CME) modules for institutional and public platforms.
- On-Site Installation & Client Training: Travel to client locations (hospitals, labs, clinics, Institutes) to install systems and provide hands-on training on sample processing, interpretation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
4. Knowledge Dissemination and Communication
- Translate complex medical content into simplified formats for marketing, public education, and internal use.
- Contribute to creation of brochures, presentation, videos, and digital content.
- Participate in patient awareness campaigns, health education talks, and community engagement.
5. Customer Success and Medical Support
- Address medical queries from clients regarding report interpretation and test applications.
- Serve as the key medical contact for labs and hospitals using VELscan and DNA Ploidy systems.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and ensure successful usage of diagnostic platforms.
6. Workshops and Community Engagement
- Conduct or participate in diagnostic camps, oral cancer screening events, and field-based data collection.
- Lead "Best Practices" workshops and awareness programs for medical professionals and public health partners.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- M.D. in Pathology from a recognized medical college/university.
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Pathology.
- Comfortable with computers and able to work with digital pathology platforms, video calls, reporting software, and remote training tools.
- Young MD Pathologists with limited experience are welcome if willing to undergo and successfully complete our structured training and evaluation program

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
