MDU Cable/Fiber Technicians Needed – 2 Week Project – Travel Opportunity – May 18th Start

We are currently seeking experienced MDU technicians and existing crews for a large occupied student housing project beginning May 18th. The project consists of 1,600 occupied student housing units across 160 buildings.

We are looking to add approximately 7 technicians immediately and would strongly prefer experienced crews that can mobilize quickly and maintain production throughout the project.

Another crew will already be onsite.

Project Scope of Work

• Install connected building modems with molding inside occupied units
• Remove existing equipment
• Activate equipment through Tech360
• Perform tap cleanup work
• Tone and tag lines where needed
• Install new homeruns to living rooms in select units
• Assist with common area / office AP installations

Requirements

• Experience with MDU/coax/fiber environments
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have basic hand tools and ladder
• Ability to work professionally in occupied units
• Tech360 access preferred
• Ability to process work orders and activate equipment preferred
• We can assist qualified technicians with obtaining access if needed
• Must be dependable and production-oriented
• Travel may be required depending on your location

Compensation

Project payout terms are Net 21.

Lodging Required Pay Scale

• 0–399 Team Units Completed = $18/unit
• 400–599 Team Units Completed = $20/unit
• 600–799 Team Units Completed = $22/unit
• 800+ Team Units Completed = $23/unit bonus tier

No Lodging Required Pay Scale

• 0–399 Team Units Completed = $20/unit
• 400–599 Team Units Completed = $22/unit
• 600–799 Team Units Completed = $24/unit
• 800+ Team Units Completed = $25/unit bonus tier

Compensation is based on total completed units by your team during the project.

Additional Information

• Another crew will already be onsite
• Work orders and planning are already being organized
• Techs cannot be pulled from quota while on this project
• Preference will be given to experienced crews who can mobilize quickly

Pay: $18.00 - $32,000.00 per month
