About The Role
Serves as the finance lead for evaluating and underwriting MDU opportunities, building defensible deal models and investment cases that support go/no-go decisions. This role validates key assumptions (unit counts, penetration/take rates, pricing/ARPU, churn, construction), quantifies expected returns, and communicates recommendations and risks to stakeholders and leadership. The role is also responsible for tracking approved deals versus actual performance, identifying variance drivers, and continuously improving assumptions and reporting to strengthen the MDU investment pipeline.
What You Will Do

Build and maintain MDU deal models including units, pricing/ARPU, penetration and take-rate assumptions, revenue ramp, churn, capex/ATC, timing, and operating impacts.

Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to quantify upside and downside risks such as cost overruns, delays, lower take-rates, and pricing pressure.

Calculate and interpret investment metrics including NPV, IRR, payback, and contribution margin/cash flow, and summarize recommendations.

Validate input assumptions with cross-functional partners including Construction/Engineering, Sales, Strategic Markets, and Finance

Review deal structure impacts such as incentives, revenue share, exclusivity/value exchange, and term length to ensure alignment with target returns.

Prepare executive-ready deal memos and approval packages, clearly presenting key risks, mitigations, and decision points.

Track approved deals versus actual performance across capex, timing, take-rate, and revenue; explain variances and refine modeling assumptions

Produce pipeline and performance reporting, including weekly and monthly dashboards with forecast impacts, trend analysis, and risk flags.
Do You Have
-
3+ years of experience in finance or analytics, including deal modeling, corporate finance, FP&A, or investment analysis.

Advanced Excel modeling skills with strong data hygiene and version control practices.

Clear and effective executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal.

Experience in infrastructure, telecom, real estate, or MDU underwriting.

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL.
Minimum Requirements: College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
