Meat Department Associate

Ogeechee Meat Market is looking for an enthusiastic Meat Counter Clerk to join our team! If you love working in a fast-paced, friendly environment where customers are treated like family, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage with customers – Provide expert recommendations on cuts of meat, cooking tips, and special requests.
• Prepare and package meats – Weigh, wrap, and label products with accuracy and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace – Ensure our meat case and prep areas stay spotless and well-stocked.
• Work as part of a great team – Support your coworkers and contribute to a positive work environment.
• no cutting required.

What We’re Looking For:

• A friendly, customer-first attitude
• Interest in learning about different cuts of meat and preparation methods
• Ability to work in a cool environment and handle physical tasks like lifting and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Experience in a meat market or grocery store is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
