Overview

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic (Mecanico Industrial) to join our bakery manufacturing facility. This role is vital for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting continuous production processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.

Duties

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot machinery using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
• Conduct welding operations specific to welding standards for repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Utilize a fork lift and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams when necessary to support customer service initiatives related to equipment repairs or upgrades.
• Perform field service tasks at various customer sites as required, providing expert technical support and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial mechanic roles within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical systems.
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately.
• Experience working with industrial electricians or in military settings is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate Fork lifts and other industrial equipment safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement in industrial maintenance practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
