Mechanic

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanic / Technician to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities

Perform routine servicing of vehicles (oil change, filter replacement, fluid checks, etc.).

Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and technical knowledge.

Carry out repairs for engine, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and other components.

Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to ensure proper repair quality.

Maintain tools, workshop equipment, and follow all safety procedures.

Complete job cards and service records accurately.

Coordinate with the Service Advisor for job updates and required parts.

Ensure timely completion of service tasks and delivery schedules.

Follow brand/service standards and maintain high workmanship quality.

• Required Skills

Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems.

Ability to diagnose and repair with accuracy.

Familiarity with workshop tools and technical equipment.

Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic communication skills.

• Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

1–3 years of experience as a Mechanic or Technician (freshers with training may also apply).

Valid driving license is an added advantage.
