Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive and heavy equipment repair, with a strong background in diagnostics, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role involves working on a variety of machinery, including farm equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. The Mechanic will play a vital role in supporting our operations through expert repairs and preventative maintenance.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues on vehicles, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery using schematics and diagnostic tools.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, and alignments.
• Repair and replace transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components.
• Fabricate parts or modify equipment as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, and power tools.
• Operate heavy machinery including loaders, semi’s, tractors, trailers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct electrical repairs involving wiring, schematics interpretation, and electrical diagnostics.
• Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on vehicles and equipment.
• Assist in assembly or disassembly of machinery during repairs or upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Dealership experience is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with schematics interpretation and electrical diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, tire service, shocks & struts.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance including alignment procedures and brake repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and industrial equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments.
• Good customer service skills are a plus for roles involving client interaction or service requests. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $3,400.00 - $5,000.00 per month
