Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic Technician to join our employee-owned company and to support our maintenance operations. This position is a hands-on job that reports to the mechanic supervisor.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair company vehicles and related equipment.
• Perform repairs or replace major components to keep fleet in safe operations, while making repairs in a timely manner.
• Use a Company Vehicle to drive and conduct diagnostics, make repairs, and troubleshoot equipment at different job sites when applicable.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
• Use a variety of tools, instruments, scanners, to safely accomplish tasks and make recommendations when applicable.

Skills

• 2 Years of experience in heavy equipment or fleet maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize task.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with hydraulic systems such as hoses, pumps, reservoirs, actuators, etc.
• Experience with Cranes (Boom Trucks, Auto Cranes, Upright Derricks).
• Familiarity with Basic Inspection of Terminals (BIT) program (fleet documentation).

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
