Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive systems. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicle's operations safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics on heavy equipment and automotive systems using schematics and electronic testing tools.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on
• Repair transmissions, hydraulic systems, suspensions, air brakes, HVAC systems, shocks & struts, and electrical components.
• Fabricate parts or modifications as needed using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques.
• Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, brake repairs, and routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safety standards are met.
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues accurately.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference.

Requirements

• Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair.
• Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
• Proficiency in using schematics for diagnostics and repair planning.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering.
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently for assembly and repair tasks.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, HVAC systems, suspension components, and tire service.
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to service technician roles.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
