Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in various mechanical systems. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining our high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, including but not limited to brake repair, tire service, and suspension systems.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations.
• Work on brake systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Operate forklifts safely while moving vehicles or parts within the shop.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.

Skills

• Proficient in shock and strut installation and repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
• Familiarity with dealership procedures and standards is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when diagnosing issues.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
