Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes quickly.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance.
- Conduct welding operations, including <LOCATION> welding techniques, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship for repairs and fabrication.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders and equipment history.
- Collaborate with the engineering team on upgrades and modifications to improve machinery reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with field service tasks, including working on scissor lifts or other elevated platforms as needed for equipment access.
Requirements
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in industrial settings, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and industrial electrician skills.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and welding techniques specific to <LOCATION> welding standards.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management and documentation purposes.
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Field service experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills in English.
