Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, HVAC units, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills; identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Conduct repairs involving welding (including <LOCATION> welding), electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and hydraulic components.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical and mechanical performance.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
- Assist with field service tasks including installation, calibration, and repair of industrial machinery in the manufacturing environment.
- Support customer service initiatives by ensuring machinery operates reliably to meet production demands and client specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical circuits (including low voltage and high voltage), schematics, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and industrial electrician skills.
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform analysis using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Experience with welding techniques specific to <LOCATION> welding standards; familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Effective communication skills in English; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,500.00 per week
