This position is responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, repairing and overhauling heavy-duty vehicles and trucks, trailers, forklifts, and other automotive vehicles by performing the following duties. Ensures services provided are in compliance with safety procedures.
- One to three years related mechanic experience and/or training preferred.
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License.
- Must adhere to required safety regulations at all times.
- Must be able to pass a customer required criminal background check.
- Must have and maintain proficiency in use of hand tools needed for repair and maintenance of equipment. (Employer does not supply personal hand tools - required)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as repair manuals for equipment, rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills with managers, supervisors, individual employees, dispatchers, and customers.
- Ability to work independently; be self motivated; results oriented.
