Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage electrical components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as pumps, motors, belts, valves, and hydraulic systems using welding and <LOCATION> welding techniques.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments like ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical and mechanical performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule future tasks and track repairs.
- Conduct field service operations including servicing scissor lifts, industrial electricians’ tasks, and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide expert advice on equipment upgrades or repairs when necessary.
- Follow schematics and technical diagrams to install or modify machinery in compliance with safety standards.
- Support emergency repairs involving high voltage or complex electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in training team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices related to industrial mechanics.
Experience
- Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), and electrical troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance planning and record keeping.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
- Experience working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage electrical systems in industrial settings.
- Background in industrial maintenance roles that include field service operations involving manufacturing equipment like scissor lifts or similar machinery.
- Knowledge of military or disciplined environments is a plus due to the emphasis on safety standards and technical precision.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
