Mechanic

Welder / Mechanic, IMMEDIATE OPENING

Job Description: A heavy-light equipment mechanic will work a semi-flexible full-time position. Pay based on experience. Position requires working with senior mechanic initially in repairing heavy equipment, and trucks. Clean MVR needed and pass drug test and pass D.O.T. physical. Welding & fabrication experience a plus.

• Making necessary repairs to equipment in a timely fashion, ensuring they meet company standards

• Helping to transport equipment
• Reporting work to the Senior Mechanic
• Maintaining records of repairs made
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of our shop and storage spaces
• Some travel to transport equipment as needed.

Schedule: Full time…Hours could be somewhat flexible and could require occasional overnight stay. Typical hours are Mon.- Fri. 8AM-4:30PM

Necessary Qualifications:

• Minimum of one year’s mechanical experience, Welding & fabrication experience needed, welding test required

• Hydraulic, Electrical, Diesel and Agricultural Equipment Knowledge a plus

• Strong work ethic, ability to self-motivate, and a willingness to ask for assistance

• Clean Driving Record, with a Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Smoke Free Environment, Drug Screen and Background Check for any candidates
