Job Overview

Duties

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes efficiently.
• Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct welding (including <LOCATION> welding), fabrication, and assembly tasks to repair or modify machinery components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems—low voltage and high voltage—to diagnose faults and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with field service teams and provide technical support for complex repairs or installations involving industrial electrician experience.
• Assist with the setup and operation of equipment like scissor lifts and other industrial tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems, electrical work, welding, and high-voltage environments.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and supporting technical sales when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a manufacturing facility environment with strong mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, welding (including <LOCATION> welding), HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments.
• Electrical experience including low voltage systems, industrial electrician skills, use of ammeters and ohmmeters, along with high voltage safety practices.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical diagrams for repairs or installations.
• Strong customer service orientation combined with field service experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate clear documentation and team collaboration.
• Military background or experience in a disciplined environment is considered a plus.
