Mechanic Apprentice

The Mechanic Apprentice is an entry-level position for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing and machining. Working under the guidance of experienced mechanics, the apprentice will develop skills in machine setup, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine setups, tooling changes, and production operations.
• Learn machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Read basic drawings and work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Experience using hand tools preferred.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Manufacturing, automotive, maintenance, or technical school experience is a plus.

Career Path

This position provides hands-on training and development toward becoming a Mechanic, Machinist, or Setup Technician.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
