Mechanic Assistant / Fleet Maintenance Technician

Paladino Development Group is seeking a dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position reports directly to our Fleet Manager, Ryan, and plays an important role in maintaining our fleet of trucks, trailers, equipment, and company vehicles that support our real estate development and property management operations.

We are willing to train the right candidate. If you have a strong work ethic, basic mechanical knowledge, a valid driver's license, and a desire to learn, we can help you develop the skills needed to succeed in this role, including fleet maintenance and towing operations.

Whether you already have towing experience or are willing to learn, we are looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work, and wants to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Change oil and filters
• Change, repair, and rotate tires
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues
• Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
• Maintain fleet service records and maintenance logs
• Keep shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Assist with towing operations and learn towing procedures
• Support the Fleet Manager with repairs and special projects
• Help ensure company vehicles remain safe and operational

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must own basic mechanic tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to report to work by 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday

Schedule

Monday – Friday
7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

• No Sundays
• No overnight travel
• Consistent daytime schedule
