Mechanic Assistant / Laborer Environmental

This post is for a mechanic assistant / laborer position in a mill setting:

Spartan Specialty Services is looking for a hardworking, responsible, and dedicated individual to work at our Farrell, PA location. The job is in a steel mill setting and consists of mechanic work on various heavy duty vehicles / machines and various mill related labor. You will be assisting the full time mechanic with any jobs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work.

The position offers: full time hourly pay with overtime available, health benefits, paid holidays, and vacation pay.

Pay starts at $20.00/hour.

MUSTS

- Ability to work hard, show up, and be an independent thinker.

- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more consistently.

- Must be able to pass background check and drug test.

-General mechanic experience

PREFERRED

- Mechanical experience

- Light and heavy equipment operating skills

- General manual labor experience

-Dump truck / vacuum truck experience
