Mechanic - Fabricator

Job Summary:

Perform assembly and fabrication of mobile aircraft refuelers and stationary fuel pump skids in accordance with manufacturer and industry guidelines for the Nation's Leading Independent Aviation Fuel Supplier. Assist in the shop maintenance and/or production teams as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly and fabrication on mobile aircraft refuelers and stationary fuel pump skids in accordance with manufacturer and industry guidelines for the Nation's Leading Independent Aviation Fuel Supplier.
• Assist in the shop maintenance and/or production teams as needed.
• Manufacture and assemble refueler trucks and other fueling equipment.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Be able to physically climb ladders and vessels of various shapes and sizes.
• Be able to work in enclosed or confined spaces.
• Be willing and able to wear personal protection equipment as required by job tasks.
• Be willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license
• Self-starter with good vision and color discrimination
• Have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff members

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma
• Ability to assemble vehicle systems from verbal or written instruction
• Fitting/Welding Aluminum, Stainless and Carbon pipe and fixtures is a plus but not required
• Minimum one year of welding experience

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
