FSM Group, LLC, an aviation fuel management company with multiple locations in the US, has an immediate need for multiple Mechanic positions for ground services equipment at its new Las Vegas, Nevada airport operation. Ground Services Equipment (GSE) Mechanics provide ongoing preventive, routine, repair, and refurbishment services for a variety of GSE. The GSE Shop is similar to an auto shop, but we work on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to: fuel carts, hydrant trucks, luggage tugs, deicing trucks, catering trucks, and anything else that you may see out on the airport ramp. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preventative and routine repair services,
• Coolant and fluid checks,
• Brake checks and tire changes,
• Troubleshooting and diagnostics, and
• Repairs and refurbishments of equipment
• Conduct safety checks on service equipment, and
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone who is adaptable enough to perform whatever task is at hand. Ground Support Equipment Mechanics provide ongoing preventive, routine, repair, and refurbishment services for a variety of GSE. Preferred candidates will have a proven history of demonstrating Safety, Performance, Compliance, Customer Service, and People achievements. No two days are the same!

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have your own basic tools
• 3-5 years of mechanical experience of gas and diesel systems (preferably auto mechanic, box truck, HVAC, refrigeration systems, etc.)
• Mechanical minds who enjoy problem-solving
• General knowledge of carburetors, alternators, starter motors, batteries, hydraulics, small engines, radiators, and diesel engines
• At least 18 years of age
• A valid U.S. Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a federal fingerprint background check
• Have proof of U.S work eligibility
• Mechanics are required to bring their own set of basic tools (wrenches, ratchets, socket sets, screwdrivers, power tools, Allen wrenches, and voltmeter). Specialty tools will be provided by the Company.

• Experience working on Ground Support Equipment
• Electrical and diesel skills
