Mechanic Helper/ Maintenance worker

R&D Marble is seeking a dependable and hardworking Mechanic Helper / Maintenance Worker to join our team. This position assists with the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, equipment, machinery, and facility upkeep. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on mechanical experience and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, forklifts, trailers, and equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Change oil, filters, belts, batteries, and other basic mechanical components
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with repairs
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
• Keep maintenance records and report equipment issues
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Load, unload, and move tools, parts, and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Previous maintenance or mechanic experience preferred but not required
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record
