Mechanical BIM Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical BIM Design Engineer to join our design team.

Job Description:
The Mechanical BIM Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and coordinating mechanical designs for building services using Revit and other BIM tools. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design, with demonstrable experience in the UAE market and a solid understanding of local codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical design drawings and BIM models for HVAC, water supply, drainage, and fire protection systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local UAE standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings.
• Support senior engineers in the preparation of technical reports, calculations, and tender documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to BIM standards and workflows within the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE working on consultancy projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM workflows.
• Solid knowledge of UAE regulations, DEWA, DM, and other authority requirements.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of sustainable design (LEED or Estidama experience a plus).
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments.
