Job Description: Mechanical BIM Lead

Location: Cairo, Egypt

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes for mechanical systems.

• Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM into design and construction workflows.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of BIM models.

• Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

• Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes.

• Manage and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify and resolve issues related to BIM modeling and data management.

• Prepare and present BIM-related documentation and reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in BIM management for mechanical systems.

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.

• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in training and mentoring team members on BIM practices.

• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for BIM.
