Mechanical Bim Modeler

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our team. The role involves creating, managing, and maintaining high-quality BIM models for MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) systems. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with BIM standards, support multi-disciplinary coordination, and deliver accurate outputs for diverse projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for MEPF systems using industry-standard BIM software.
• Conduct clash detection using tools like Autodesk Navisworks and resolve design conflicts early in the project lifecycle.
• Generate and maintain BIM standards, templates, families, and libraries for MEPF disciplines.
• Prepare and review conceptual and Good for Construction (GFC) drawings directly from BIM data.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and cost estimation by extracting accurate data from BIM models.
• Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with project specifications, relevant building codes, and industry standards.

Skills:

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
• Strong knowledge of MEPF systems and BIM modeling logic.
• Expertise in BIM coordination, clash detection, and model quality checks.
• Familiarity with international building codes (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or related engineering field.
