Location: Cairo, Egypt

Responsibilities:

• coordinate and manage BIM models specifically for mechanical systems within projects.

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project teams to integrate BIM into mechanical design workflows.

• Develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices for mechanical systems.

• Provide training and support to mechanical project teams on BIM software and methodologies.

• Conduct regular quality checks on mechanical BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and workshops focused on mechanical systems with project stakeholders.

• Assist in the creation of 3D mechanical models and drawings for construction documentation.

• Analyze and resolve BIM-related issues and conflicts within mechanical project teams.

• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology and practices related to mechanical systems.

• Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum of 4-7years of experience in BIM coordination with a focus on mechanical systems.

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

• Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards, and protocols for mechanical systems.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in a mid-level role within the construction or mechanical engineering industry is preferred.
