Job Title: Mechanical CAD Draftsman (MEP) – 10+ Years Experience

Job Summary:
A&M International is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical CAD Draftsman with a minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in coordination and shop drawing preparation, with the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for mechanical systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting.
• Perform coordination between MEP trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) to avoid clashes and ensure smooth project execution.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate implementation of design intent.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, project requirements, and engineer feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and local authority regulations.
• Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to resolving technical issues.
• Utilize coordination tools and methods (e.g., overlay drawings, clash detection) to identify and resolve conflicts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical drafting within MEP projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in MEP coordination (essential).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Navisworks and Revit MEP (preferred).
• Solid understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
