Mechanical CAD Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical CAD Engineer to create and revise technical drawings and 3D models of mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 2D and 3D CAD models of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems.
• Create detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing and fabrication.
• Collaborate with design engineers to translate concepts into technical drawings.
• Ensure designs meet functional, performance, and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform tolerance analysis and fit checks.
• Modify and revise drawings based on engineering mark-ups and feedback.
• Maintain design documentation and version control.
• Assist in prototyping and testing support where required.
• Coordinate with suppliers and fabrication teams for manufacturability feedback.
• Follow company standards and industry best practices for CAD modeling and drafting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or CATIA.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience Minimum 2 Years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,199.58 - ₹30,805.21 per month
