Mechanical Coordination Draftsman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical / MEP Coordination Draftsman with hands-on experience in the preparation of MEP coordination and shop drawings for high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and drafting, ensuring seamless integration and coordination among mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop MEP coordination drawings, ensuring proper integration between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Create detailed and accurate mechanical and MEP shop drawings as per project standards and specifications.
• Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical and design conflicts.
• Update and revise drawings based on site conditions and design changes.
• Ensure compliance with project codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Support project teams during design reviews, technical meetings, and site coordination.
• Maintain organized documentation and drawing records for project reference.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in MEP drafting and coordination for high-rise buildings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design concepts and MEP coordination principles.
• Ability to prepare detailed and coordinated MEP shop drawings independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Immediate availability for joining.

Preferred:

• Experience with BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Previous work in consultancy or contracting firms in the UAE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
