Mechanical Design Draftsman

Position: Mechanical Design Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering drawings for Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines using design calculations and mark-ups.
• Prepare construction drawings and maintain accurate “As-Built” documentation, including schematics and Material Take-Offs.
• Develop drawings from sketches or concepts by reviewing archives, performing site visits, taking measurements, and creating field sketches.
• Update drawings to as-built status using the latest AutoCAD and relevant engineering software based on site verification and mark-ups.

Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / ITI in Mechanical Draftsman
• 7yrs experience in oil & gas refining/petrochemical plants
• good knowledge in latest AUTOCAD software (both 2D & 3D)
• good knowledge in Plant 3D & other lastest CAD design software
• level 3 in English communication
• knowledge of piping materials specs, standards and codes
• knowledge of microsoft office application
• age limit: not over 45 y.o.

Salary: QAR 4000 + FAT provided
