Now Hiring: Mechanical Design Draftsman

Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Draftsman to join our team in Ras Laffan. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating engineering drawings for mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
✔ Prepare and update detailed engineering and as-built drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
✔ Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, P&IDs, equipment drawings, and material take-offs.
✔ Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and create drawings from sketches and mark-ups.
✔ Support projects, Management of Change (MOC), inspections, and maintenance activities.
✔ Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and specifications.

Requirements:
✔ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Draftsman Mechanical.
✔ Minimum 7 years of drafting experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical plants.
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Plant 3D is preferred.
✔ Strong understanding of piping drawings, mechanical systems, and engineering standards.
✔ Good English communication and Microsoft Office skills.
✔ Age not exceeding 45 years
