Mechanical Design Engineer – Aircraft Lav and Galley

Department: Aircraft Lav & Galley Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 & AutoCAD.

• Develop top-level Galley or Lavatory assembly models in CATIA V5 & AutoCAD
• Create detailed components and subassemblies to meet project requirements.

• Conduct design reviews and peer checks for compliance and quality.

• Develop solutions for design changes and maintain weight tracking.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design, testing, and production.

• Ensure adherence to customer and aviation standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.

• 3–6 years of experience in aircraft interior or product design.

• Proficient in CATIA V5, AutoCAD, and PLM systems (ARAS preferred).

• Strong in GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and aircraft monument design.

• Familiarity with Boeing/Airbus standards is mandatory.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
