Mechanical Design Engineer – Venturetronics

Venturetronics is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of innovative electromechanical products. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire product development process, from concept generation through production release, while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and prototyping teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product development activities from initial concept through production launch.
• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
• Prepare detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and ASME Y14.100 standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve performance, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute practical engineering solutions to technical challenges.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding material selection and manufacturing methods.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation, design records, and revision control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or related engineering roles.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and mechanical design principles.
• Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
