Mechanical Design/Draftsman

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman/CAD Designer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing projects. The Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical documentation in accordance with project specifications and standards. The ideal candidate should possess extensive atleast 3 years in UAE contracting experience, strong technical drafting skills, and familiarity with industry standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to produce accurate mechanical documentation.
• Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure drawings are accurate and meet project requirements.
• Update and revise drawings based on design changes and site instructions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with UAE standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Maintain organized and uptodate drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of technical submittals and material specifications.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to facilitate smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum of 4 years UAE contracting industry experience as a Mechanical Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping layouts, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection drawings.
• Familiarity with UAE standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
