Mechanical Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs using advanced CAD software. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical design principles, and familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes. The Mechanical Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for construction of natural gas production facilities ensuring designs meet all technical and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD.
• Create schematics, system layouts, and assembly drawings aligned with project specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME codes & standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed technical drawings.
• Support construction activities through detailed drafting and technical support.

Qualifications

• Technical Associates Degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, schematics, system design, and drafting standards.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to mechanical design and construction projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
