Mechanical Draftsman

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draftsman with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical drawings and supporting site and engineering teams throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) as per project requirements.
• Develop layouts, sections, and details based on approved design drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers and site teams for drawing clarifications and revisions.
• Update drawings based on site conditions, RFIs, and consultant comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and local authority requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit knowledge is an advantage).
• Good understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawings.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple revisions.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in UAE or GCC projects.
• Familiarity with authority approval processes.
