Mechanical Draftsman

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MECHANICAL DRAFTSMAN to join our dynamic team and assist in designing, drafting, and detailing mechanical systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning layouts.
• Prepare detailed mechanical plans, ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure proper integration of HVAC systems.
• Review specifications, design criteria, and project requirements to create efficient and cost-effective designs.
• Revise drawings and models based on client feedback or regulatory changes.
• Assist in the preparation of system calculations and energy efficiency reports.
• Ensure all drawings are properly labeled and organized in a digital or physical file system.
• Maintain project documentation and file drawings in an organized manner in a digital or physical file system.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting
• 7–10 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (3D software knowledge is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 2D and 3D modeling, as well as design calculations and analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
