MECHANICAL DRAUGHT ENGINEER(HVAC)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Draught Engineer (HVAC) responsible for preparing detailed drawings and layouts of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role supports engineers and project teams by converting design concepts into accurate technical drawings for installation and construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC shop drawings including ducting and chilled water piping layouts
• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Create as-built drawings based on site conditions
• Coordinate HVAC drawings with other MEP services (electrical, plumbing, fire fighting)
• Ensure drawings comply with standards such as ASHRAE and project specifications
• Prepare sections, elevations, and schematic diagrams
• Assist engineers in basic design tasks like duct sizing and layout planning
• Review and revise drawings based on consultant/client feedback
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2–5 years of HVAC drafting experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components

Required Skills

• Proficiency in CAD and BIM tools
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems (AHU, FCU, ducting, piping)
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data tracking, BOQ preparation)
