Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, reviewing, and supervising mechanical systems in line with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of MEP works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems in line with project specifications.
• Prepare load calculations, equipment sizing, ducting, and piping layouts.
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and contractors to resolve design or site issues.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality and progress.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities of mechanical systems.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, BOQs, and cost estimates.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance during project execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in MEP mechanical design and site execution (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
