Responsibilities:

• Conduct heat load and pressure loss calculations for HVAC systems.
• Select appropriate equipment (e.g., fans, pumps, heat exchangers) and design pipe and duct layouts.
• Develop and oversee the installation of mechanical ventilation, pressurization, and smoke management systems.
• Design and size industrial piping systems in compliance with relevant standards.
• Perform site visits and inspections to assess system performance and quality.
• Troubleshoot mechanical system problems and develop solutions.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure quality compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to integrate mechanical systems into project designs.
• Ensure all designs and installations meet energy codes, building regulations, and specified performance parameters.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Assist with project management activities such as budgeting, scheduling, and resource coordination.
