Mechanical Engineer – Hastings, MN

Our agency is partnering with a leading automation equipment manufacturer to find a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Hastings, MN. Key Responsibilities:

• Design machines and create detailed prints that align with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete project documentation throughout all phases.
• Support the full project lifecycle—from order to installation—including customer communication.
• Estimate and manage workload to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
• Oversee procurement activities and manage the project bill of materials.
• Provide technical support to sales and service teams as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, machine design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferably).
• Understanding of machine fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and sense of ownership over work.
• Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
