Mechanical Engineer

Job Purpose

Apply relevant mechanical engineering expertise and knowledge within the Maintenance Department, through conducting technical studies, conceptual and detail design, reviewing and recommending modifications and developments and contributing to achieve planned objectives.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

▪ Study, evaluate and propose maintenance improvement pertaining to asset maintenance.

▪ Mitigate the maintenance issues to ensure the availability of assets.

▪ Guide the maintenance team by providing technical support.

▪ Optimization of spares for the Assets.

▪ Time to time review of Maintenance Procedures

▪ Training the supporting staff in the maintenance activities.

▪ Participate in Project Document review, assist in construction, commissioning and start up activities.

▪ Preparation of blanket agreement contract for various maintenance activities.

▪ Prepare PM schedule for the refinery rotating equipment

▪ Supervise in Shutdown/Turn around activities

Qualifications & Requirements

▪ Bachelor of Engineering OR Equivalent as approved by Saudi Council of Engineers.

▪ Minimum 10 years of Experience in Maintenance of assets in Oil/Gas Sector industries

▪ Have strong knowledge on static & rotating equipment.
