Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical system design and coordination for HVAC, firefighting,
  
  

plumbing, water supply, and gas systems.

• Manage large-scale high-rise building projects from concept design through construction.
• Develop and maintain detailed MEP models using Revit (BIM) and coordinate with other
  
  

disciplines.

• Perform mechanical load calculations, equipment selection, and prepare
  
  

BOQs/specifications.

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP teams to ensure integrated
  
  

design.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, review shop drawings, RFIs, and technical submissions.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with international standards and local building codes.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in MEP design for high-rise buildings.
• Strong technical knowledge of:
• HVAC systems
• Firefighting systems
• Plumbing and water supply systems
• Gas systems
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; familiar with BIM coordination tools.
• Knowledge of standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local building codes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  
  

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• LEED accreditation or professional engineering license.
• Familiarity with local authority approval processes for MEP works.
